권신홍 작가는 보이지 않는 빛이 머물다간 시간, 머물고 있는 시간의 빛에 대한 이야기를 ‘노인’이라는 공간에 담고, (Old Boy! Old Girl!) 무수한 빛과 어둠이 자리했던 공간, 장소, 사물에 대한 이야기, 함께 살아가는 반려자(동물)에 대한 이야기 (동거인과 반려자)등의 이야기를 통해, 본능적이고 직관적인 언어를 구사하는 ‘회화’ 매체로 무형의 감각으로 존재하는 ‘빛’에 대한 큰 흐름의 이야기들을 공감각적 예술로 확장한다.
개인전 7회, 탑골 미술관, KOTRA, 롯데 아트홀 등 다수의 단체전 참여와 <우리집 강아지> 일러스트 작업과 미디어 파사드 상 협업 등 다수의 아트 콜라보레이션 활동.
중앙대학교 석사 졸.

GWON Shinhong is a very talented emerging artist who talks about passage of time, lights of lifetime (under OLD BOY! / OLD GIRL! series), our companion and bioethics (under ‘housemate’ and ‘companion’ series). Each series works proceed as artist’s planned to expand their story synesthetically.
She has had 7 solo exhibitions in Korea and various group exhibitions and various art collaboration works including media-façade in COEX, fashion brands, jewelry brands.
