이태강 작가는 일상 속에서 여기저기 흩어져 있는 것들을 발견해 나열하고 하나로 모아 새로운 이야기를 만들어낸다. 행간의 숨겨진 의미를 찾아 시를 새로 쓰듯 부드럽게 은유적으로 표현하는 것이 특징인 그의 작업은 조각, 설치미술, 드로잉, 일러스트북 등 다양한 방식으로 보여진다. 

5회의 개인전과 고양 미술관, 신세계 갤러리, 서울 미술관, 청계광장, 롯데 갤러리 등 다수의 단체전, 공공미술 공모전 참여. 2015 1회 브런치북 금상 수상 및 6권의 일러스트 북, 동화책 발간.

LEE Taekang is a young Korean sculptor who tells us various stories of his own retelling-everyday life in a gentle and metaphorical style. He has had 5 solo exhibitions and various group exhibitions including Goyang museum, Shinsegye gallery, Seoul museum, Lotte gallery, Cheonggye palaza etc. He won the first prize at the Brunch book contest in 2015 and he has published 6 illustration books since 2014.
